| 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | Breakfast Training: Raising Our Voices on Capitol Hill Participants will be seated with their Hill Visits Group. They will receive a briefing and training on the legislative issues and will have an opportunity to make final preparations for their Congressional appointments. |
| 9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. | Buses Depart for Capitol Hill Buses will take participants from the Renaissance Hotel directly to Capitol Hill with stops on both the House and Senate sides. |
| 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Meetings with Members of Congress Small group meetings have been scheduled for all participants with their members of Congress and/or legislative staff. |
| 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Capitol Hill Luncheon Participants will attend a special luncheon at which we will have the opportunity to acknowledge and thank CARE’s Congressional Champions for their support. |
| 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Meetings with Members of Congress Small group meetings will continue their scheduled meetings with their members of Congress and/or legislative staff. |
| 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Diplomatic Reception The Diplomatic Reception will be graciously hosted by His Excellency Dino Patti Djalal, the Ambassador of Indonesia, and Mrs. Djalal in celebration of International Women’s Day. This evening serves to highlight the diplomatic relationships and recognize the individual and corporate philanthropy that make CARE’s work possible. It also serves to honor individuals who have helped bring greater awareness to the global development dialogue. The reception is business attire. |
